We're a star certified Test-only Smog station. We do all smog checks as required by the State of California.
Monday - Friday: 7.30am-5pmSaturday: 7.30am-2pm No appointment necessary.We are also open late upon request. - Registration Renewal - Out of state vehicles - Test Only - star certified - Change of ownership - Gross polluter - Half Price Re-Test In case your vehicle fails the initial test, we offer a Half Price re-test after the vehicle has been repaired. We send the result of the test and the certificate directly to the DMV. Smog check usually takes only 15-20 minutes to complete.
City Smog is a star certified official State of California Smog Test Only Station located in Bakersfield, CA licensed with the Bureau of Automotive Repair to perform smog checks for all makes and models of automobiles, diesel trucks and motorhomes as required by the DMV. We are a family owned and operated business with a certified star, ASE technician and take pride in providing high-quality service at a competitive price.
You are ensured a fair smog test, because smog testing is all we do! Since we don't repair vehicles that fail the smog test, we gain nothing from smog test failures. However, we can show you how you can receive up to $500 from the state for repairs at a licensed Consumer Assistance Program (C.A.P.) smog repair station. We have lists of C.A.P. stations available, as well as applications for C.A.P. assistance. So come on in and let us make it easy on you.
